Our team has absorbed feedback from our early sponsors, presenters, and members to create something valuable for all parties. Truly a win/win situation!
- Attendees will pay $99 each, making WindyCityRails accessible to many people without the stigma of “free.”
- Sponsors will benefit from the target-rich technical environment. What kind of person pays $99 for a technical conference on a Saturday? Probably a person in your target demographic.
- The venue, IIT, is academic and accessible via car & public transportation. Out-of-towners can get to the conference very easily.
- WindyCityRails is not profit driven. Sponsor & attendee fees will be used to cover the expenses of WindyCityRails and ChicagoRuby.org, and all profits will benefit the Greater Chicago Food Depository.
